Moving Data to Another Device
There are several ways to move data between devices.
Full device backup
When setting up a new device, you can restore a full backup on it. In this case, all apps and their data will be restored completely, including Money Flow data. The Apple Account must be the same.
Money Flow data backup
Money Flow has a built-in backup mechanism: Settings ▸ Backups. Backups are stored in iCloud, so the option to restore them is available in the app on all devices with the same Apple Account. A backup contains all the app’s data.
Synchronization
You can set up data synchronization (Settings ▸ Enable Synchronization) and sign in to your profile on the new device. This way, all data will be transferred, except for automatic recurrence settings and images. The synchronization profile is not tied to an Apple Account.
Export-import of transactions
You can export all transactions from the app in CSV format, transfer the resulting file to another device, and import it into Money Flow. This method does not require the same Apple Account. However, such a file stores information only about transactions. Budgets, goals, account groups, images, as well as empty accounts, categories, tags, and counterparties are not saved in it.
